dickie in case you havent noticed already...im a teen and my views are different and maybe not as developed as all of yours is but i'll say what i want, when i want and how i want..ok so thank you. . .

i just want to start by saying that i've been reading this board for a couple of years now. and this has got to be the most negative health-related board i have even had the misfortune to be involved with. those of you who remember the old board can attest to this. all everyone does is bash each other. we all have the same problem here: keratosis pilaris. i enjoy pot shots and personal insults just like the next guy, BUT THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. you would have thought this would have changed with the site becoming a pay-site, however the only thing that has decreased is the frequency of postings.

Nally, im a teen aswell so dont use that as an excuse to be ignorant...im here to help and your only making it harder.

And i have nothing against what you said, what im annoyed at is you had the time to post it, without having the time to reply to a post that i made that was trying to help you!

This is the first time since I've been here (post- paying) that I've seen such negativity. I agree, this is not the place.


Let us all be reminded that depsite our different beliefs, we all share something in common, so lets keep that in mind before we speak in anger. It's rare to find people that truly understand the pain in the butt this condition can be, and when we do, we should stick together.

There is but it doesn't mean that we need to stoop to that level. Getting used to negativity and creating it/encouraging it are two very different things.

Not to nitpick, but KP is not the worst thing that can happen. I used to think my kp was horribly depressing...until I got a severe case of rosacea...

Now Rosacea is the worst thing going for me...and I barely notice my kp over my blazing red face in 50 degree weather and migrane headaches 24/7...

Just goes to show you...it could be better, but it could be a lot worse.
