Hello! New with questions

Hi everyone,

I am 34 and I read about KP a couple years ago in a magazine and thought hmm maybe that's what I have. Then with just my busy life with 2 small children (22 months & 3 1/2) I just forgot about it. I kept thinking I will make an appointment for a dermatologist to have my moles checked and I will ask about it then. Never have made it there yet. Then this month I saw a Q&A in Self magazine and it reminded once again what this was called and it said to try Lactic Acid hence a product liked AmLactin. I almost bought some but when I was at the store I saw the Neutragena skin smoothing product before I even came here. I decided to buy it and try it. Then I saw that' s what a lot of people have tried here. Sounds like works for some but not others. I have only used it 3 times now in the past 6 days. I skipped a dayin between applications because of itching and redness on my forearms mostly. My skin is pretty senstive. Is this something normal that will go away as I keep using it? I bought some Aveeno soothing bath wash too, but doubt that is what is causing it since it's supposed to soothe itching and take away redness and when I use it and get out of the shower, my skin is noticalby less red and irritated. It's usually the next day when the redness and itching occurs after using the Neutrogena. Those are the only 2 new products I am using. What exactly is Sulfur soap? Does is SMELL like sulfur????? Seems like this helps a lot of you.

Tara

neutrogena bump minimizing lotion didn't do alot for me. sulfur soap + Curel Q10 has done the most, but you gotta be consistent whatever you do. sulfur soap is kinda stinky, but I fix that by using it in KP areas to exfolliate w/ scrubbie, then use Dove Nutrium body wash all over as my regular cleanser.
hope this helps!
