I have had kp on my arms for as long as I can remember (28 now), my mother always acted as though it was normal and now that I noticed the bumps on my 11 year old neice I went to the Derm Md, he knew immeadiately what it was and reccomended Am Lactin and Tazorac(insurance didnt cover) so I am using the Am Lactin only, I wondered what the consesus is for removing or helping the bumps? I can deal with reddness. I've read alot on this site about sulfur soap, what is it and where can I get it?
I welcome any reccomendations, at this point it seems I have more bumps if I scrub my arms, and the Am Lactin doesn't seem to be helping??? I'd hate for my neice to have her embarrassment ignored like I did my whole childhood Thanks for any help!!!! |

You can buy the soap at sulphursoap.com or sulfursoap.com, both the same company. I have also tried AmLactin, it didn't work at all for me. Have had good results with Neutrogena Skin Smooth Lotion. I just started using the sulphur soap this Monday and so far it has been amazing in getting rid of the bumps, the lotion helps with the redness too. Now my goal is to find something for the dark scars left behind. Wish you the best of luck with the sulphur soap. Keep us posted on your results!!
