I think I've done it and it was blind dumb luck. When I ordered my aha lotion for my arms a sample came for a product called MaMa lotion. It's an aha lotion for face 20% strong.
I have kp on my face. It's been there 15 years and counting (I'm 30 now) . It makes me flushed with sensitive skin and kp bumps down the sides of my face (joy oh joy )

I've tried all sorts of stuff to clear it up and while some things help nothing seems to clear it until this. My face is 90% smooth and the rest is going down . The red is there but blotchy as in its not covering its usual areas completely. Frankly I don't know if its scar tissue from having kp so long but according to the MaMa lotion company it can help fade scars. We'll see but my fingers are crossed.
I put MaMa on found it gooey . Not the best texture but it was a free sample . When it dried it left my face feeling coated a bit with some tingling though nothing major.
When I woke my face felt tight and dry so I took my bottle of zen med cream cleaser and washed the flakes off then put on Neova green tea calming serum and Daybreak Lavender Farm's zit zap it.
The last two have given my skin the best results taking the red and dots down the most. My zen med cream cleanser was a failed attempt to remove my kp though it doesn't cause me any irritation so I kept it.
I also put on sunblock because its a strong aha.
I've been using MaMa once at night and that is it . I took Turqoise's advice on no scrubbing while using ahas hence my zenmed cleaser . I'm so happy .
Now for my note of caution. I am not a doctor. I don't claim that what works for me will work for you or even that its a good thing for you to do . I have no clue what your skin is like and your sensitvities . Please be careful and if it hurts then don't do it . Check with your doctor if you are unsure . I hope by sharing someone else can get good results . Be sure to read all accompanying materials if you get MaMa .
You can get 3 little sample tubes at SkinCareRx for under 10$ a little goes a long way. After a week I still have half of my sample tube left .

AHA is magical stuff. I've had some redness/bumps on my cheeks for forever and the AHA lotion totally cleared that up, as well as making the rest of my skin very smooth. I've never seen it look so good.
