What are the spots? My forearms look like someone dotted me with a red pen???? Are they permanent?

Hey Dana, are the red dots permanent, no, but they do take time and patience to fade. First, you have to understand what they are, they are residual inflammation and some vascular proliferation so the best bet to fade them would be to combine anti-inflammatory creams and some kind of capillary cream to help close the dilated capillaries. Remember, just be patient.

I'm wondering whether, if the red dots are the result of vascular inflammation, getting them zapped with laser treatments would eliminate them. (I've had laser treatments done on my face to get rid of spider veins and red dots that I've been told are the result of blood vessels close to the surface of the skin.)
Sorry if this topic has already been thoroughly discussed elsewhere on the message board -- I don't get the chance to check it too often! |
