Has anyone try Dermablend to cover the spots?

I've been considering trying Dermablend to cover the ugly kp spots. I know that it's used for people with a variety of skin disorders as a cosmetic cover-up. I was wondering if anyone had tried it. Is it greasy? Would it block pores? Would it aggravate kp? Does it stain clothes? I'm considering using it in a location that's usually covered (dating reasons, let's put it this way. I don't want to feel awkward about my body anymore and feel inhibited). Would it stain someone else on contact? I'd like some feedback from anyone who's tried it before I order it. My expenses are piling up trying to manage this disorder...

Of the hundreds of people on this forum, NO ONE has tried it and can give me an opinion on this product? Not a single response? This is disheartening and dispiriting... I feel like I'm calling out for help in the desert...

I tried it more than 15 years ago and found the color to be unnatural on me and the texture chalky. It did get in my clothes. I didn't use it more than twice, and it's been so long, I can't tell you more than that, but I did walk past some new products like it at a big Macy's last summer, so that type of product seems to be in demand.

I can only imagine what that thing is going to do to your skin: clog the pores even worse!!!
Not a solution, I think.

I think Dermablend do a setting powder which makes it waterproof...
It probably would clog pores but if you cleanse it off afterwards it would prob be ok and didnt wear it all the time

I haven't tried dermablend but I have used a similar product - sally hansen airbrush legs, and it worked for me. I used it on my legs and arms, it didnt fully cover up the spots/bumps but it certainly helped. my skintone was a lot more even and looked alot smoother too. also it comes in a few different shades so u have 2 find the correct shade for it to be effective

hiya ive tried dermablend and its amazing and does cover and is waterproof so its great. what i do now is mix it in with my body lotion when i use it otherwise it takes me ages to put on.....i harldy use it, once in the last year, used to use it alot before.....like u say more for dating!! but i also used it in spain on holiday....as im fatter now and so are my arms so i dont really wear sleeveless tops as much as i did before....but this stuff does cover shame cant cover all that fat!!!!

anyway i got mine on the NHS so it was cheap and u really have to blend becoz its very thick....also at the chemist she matched me up really well and showed me how to use it....i wouldnt use it on my face but i know u can.

Hi there! I use dermablend, and i really recommend it!..I have really bad KP and for so long i wouldn't wear any tops with short sleeves..it was just too embarrasing..I used to try and put makeup on my skin but it looked to obvious..
I still don't often where singlet/or short sleeved tops, but on occasion when I do I use dermalend. I mix it with some moisturiseriser as it's really thick and apply it to the upper areas of my arms and on my forearms..I have the colour called BUFF and it works well with my skin..It's really thick, and will clog your pores so make sure u wash it off when u get home..
I really recommend it, my KP is quite bad, and this is the only thing that makes me confident in wearing short sleeve tops..it's just something that u can use until we find something that helps to diminish KP..

It dosn't cost to much..just make sure u get a colour close to ur skin tone and before applying it mix it with some moisturiser..i mix it with some vaseline intensive care skin moisturiser but u can use any moiusturiser u may have a home..

Goodluck..i really hope it works for you..i know how depressing KP can be

o and also about it staining clothes..it could, such as when u are taking ur clothes off..it's just like makeup, so i recommend applying after u wear ur clothes and being careful when taking ur clothes off so that your arms don't swipe across you top..
