Adrenal Glandulars took away the redness!

I just found this website and read a ton of great information. Here is my abridged KP story with information relating to other things I have read. I am a 23 year old male.

I started to get KP when I hit puberty. It was quite bad, with redness and bumps everywhere where hair was developing. This got better over the years as hairs developed. I belive androgens and hair development make KP worse.

I have had a number of unexplainable symptoms which I believe are mostly related to poor calcium utilization: Swelling lymph nodes, curvature of the spine, brittle nails, hair and dry skin. I also have dealt with severe acid reflux as a child which caused Barrett's esophagus by the time I was around 14. Also, depression and anxiety issues during adolesense.

In regards to diary, I have been vegan for about 5 years and did not notice that it helped or hurt KP.

Anyway, I began taking Adrenal Glandulars after researching adrenal insufficiency and noticing that I had many of the symptoms. After taking the glandulars for one week, nearly all of the red bumps on my arms are gone!! My condition is not perfect, but probably around 80 or 90% better than before I started taking them!

I think I just found out why....

Sort of pathetic that I am the first person to respond to my post, but I just read and article about calcium that finally explained to me how calcium becomes biounavailable. It also explains why adrenal glandulars may have helped with my calcium issue..

http://www.drlwilson.com/Articles/calcium.htm

Basically, Dr. Wilson goes on to say that when someone has adrenal insufficiency, they cannot maintain sodium and potassium levels as they should. In place of the sodium and potassium, calcium and magnesium take the place and become biounavailable (where your body cannot use it).

Adrenal glandulars have made a world of difference for me. I also urged my friend to try them after she decribed symptoms of adrenal insufficiency to me and now she swears by them. She had bumps on her arms, too!

This is the best description of Adrenal Insufficiency Symptoms I have found: http://www.drrind.com/scorecardmatrix.asp

Thank you so much for the information. I'll be reading those links right now. Sorry no one's responded, I guess it's been a slow day LOL. I just signed on so, let me take a look.

I have a lot of redness, so any success is hope for me.

Sounds promising. I'd love to try it but I'm still recoiling from the spending season.

If anyone else wants to try it and post the results, please do!

It will cost you about $7 per month for adrenal glandulars. I think almost anyone could do that.

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but I read somewhere that adrenal glandulars can disrupt the intricate interconnected hormone controlling systems of the body.

You can find them at the Vitamin Shoppe. I use the Solaray brand. You can also order it online at www.vitaminshoppe.com. Start with 1 pill a day for the first week or so. I took the serving size (2 pills) from the beginning and I was ridiculously energetic for a couple days.

Seanssecret post some before and after photos or just after photos. Where did you have kp and how long? When you say your kp is almost gone, do you mean the hairs are actually breaking through the skin like normal or did the redness and lumps go away?
