a meeting for people with KP?
Having read many of the opinions of people with KP, I imagine it would be a good idea to have a KP convention.
Imagine a few people invited to give lectures on various treatments, and then everyone just mingles after. Since everyone has KP, no 1 will have any hangups. Now if only someone could work something like in London I'd be there! |

We'd need someone to hire out a venue. Alternatively, just arrange a meeting place... without the guest speaker.
But, for me at least, it would be a good event. |

hiya i live in London and I would def come, even if it was somewhere else.
but not all treatments work for everyone and some of it is too expensive anyway....and sometimes i think well its soo cold here anyway so who will really see my arms/legs!! |

Meeting somewhere sounds easier. It's less of a fuss. I wouldn't mind either way though. We should def do this-any thoughts on when n where?

London or Manchester - big city. safe for everyone. good transport.
oh, everyone who turns up should wear a blue shirt to help identify themselves |

we'd have to plan it long in advance to enable as many people as possible to attend. either manchester or london is good because of transport.
oh, my blue shirt idea may not be so good because i realised i don't have one that fits anymore. doh! |

I like the sound of a convention. I'm new to dealing with KP, even though I think I've suffered from it for a long time - it was never diagnosed, but it's pretty clear what it is. I'd like the idea of hiring out a venue and having people speak about it, so that people who are unsure how to deal with it can learn best. I'd offer to help arrange it, but I'm only a teenager, so yeah. Go figure.
