My daughter has
kp on her face, and lately, she has used Salex with a little success. She did use TendSkin, which helped alot for years, but that quit working. Anyway, her face always seems to have a redness to it, not from the
kp but from the products she uses on her sensitive skin. She dislikes Eucerin Redness Relief. Although I don't have
kp, I have rosacea, which makes my skin sensitive, and I had been having redness problems from the anti-aging products I was using on my face. My dermatologist gave me a prescription for both Nicomide-T cream and Nicomide pills (I take one twice a day), and it has really calmed my skin down. I let my daughter use some of the cream (their website says it's okay for 12 and older), and it helped her redness alot. Not the
kp, mind you, but the redness from the Salex. She has only used it a couple of times because she was in the sun this weekend, and I don't know if her experience was indicative of a great success or not like it was for me, but it is something you might ask your dermatologist about. It has some form of vitamin B in it and is advertised to be very safe. Here is a quote from their website: "The main ingredient in topical Nicomide-T is nicotinamide, an ingredient that is very safe and has been shown to be effective in reducing the appearance of redness and inflammation associated with acne blemishes. In fact, in a clinical study, dermatologist investigators determined that the improvements in appearance provided by topical nicotinamide over 8 weeks were equivalent to those seen with the leading topical prescription antibiotic clindamycin." This is their website:

kp is tough stuff; my daughter has had hers for 14 years.
