Cetaphil information
I saw my dermatologist last week, who mentioned that I have a very slight case of rosacea on my cheeks. When I asked what type of cleanser to use, he told me to NOT use Cetaphil, since the company changed the formula a few years ago and he's had some patients who have had very bad experiences (including a 92-year-old woman whose skin was basically ruined by it). He called the company to express his displeasure, which is when he learned that the formula had been altered. He recommended using Purpose facial wash (which I believe Johnson & Johnson makes) as a truly safe, gentle, soap-free cleanser.
Just wanted to pass this along to any of you who might be using Cetaphil.
