5% Gigawhite for reduction of redness/scarring

Neostrata offers a 5% Gigawhite lotion, which you can look at here: http://www.canderm.com/page.asp?intN...rID-13_sPos-0;

Has anyone tried this product? I might give it a go, because my biggest concern at the mo' are scars left over from my brilliant attempts at popping KP spots. (Yeah, I know. Ugh.) I've got a few dark red spots on the insides of my thights, midway up. Needless to say, they < sexy.

However! The good news is that the redness is my main concern at the moment, because the regimen I've been practicing for the past couple of weeks is showing some results! Here's what I do:

Exfoliate with Clean'n'Clear Body Scrub in the shower using a body puff. I scrub pretty vigorously, which I guess I wouldn't recommend for very sensitive skin types? Twice a day -- well, once in the evening, and once at night -- I apply Neostrata 10% glycolic acid lotion on my problem areas (arms, legs, bum), the evening application being right after my shower.

The bumps on my bum are pretty much gone! There are maybe three of 'em. Maybe. Never have I had such smooth hindquarters, I tells ya. My legs are a lot better, aside from those nasty spots that remain, and my upper arms are pretty good, definitely improved.

Mainly the only areas that are real problems as far as actual bumps go are around my knees (top and sides) and around the bottom and inside of my upper arms.

Hooray!

Anyway, that ties into the Gigawhite thing because I'd like to try that to thwart the remaining redness. Just thought I'd mention the product to all of you in case you hadn't heard of it, or have heard of it and might have a review ...?

Oh, and in the morning, or to just moisturize without the acid factor, I use Néolia moisturizing olive oil body lotion. Ahem: "Made with 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil enriched with vitamin E and aloe vera."

Even though I've heard vitamin E doesn't actually do much like they say it does, can't go wrong with virgin oils and aloe vera!

Actually ... I'm not sure about that, either. But I do try!
