I've been using coconut oil on my face for nearly 2 weeks now i think (once when my skin is still wet from the shower and once before going to bed when my skin is dry) I still have to apply other moisturisers (currently finishing up a very expensive bottle of KP duty) because once the oil has absorped my face quickly dries up again.

At the moment the KP on my face looks worse, it's feeling drier and there are more papules appearing everyday (which i never really had before, it was only bumps and redness). Have other people experienced this? Is this part of the healing process, it has to get worse before it gets better?

I'd really appreciate anyone's input.

It´s NOT supposed to get worse so stop using it!

To be honest I'm willing to stick it out another week or two. It's not so much worse that i can't cope. Everyone's skin is different, so who knows!

If I do have to stop using it I'm going to have to start cooking with it or something cos I've got a huge pot of the stuff!
