Re: Cured at last with oil pulling

Andrea,

If you try oil pulling, please give it 30 days to see results. BunnyDay says she saw better results after 60 days.

If oil pulling doesn't help, try something else. Stay hopeful that you will find something that works, because it is that hope that will motivate you to keep searching and trying.

Re: Cured at last with oil pulling

I just tried it and it tastes alright. I got Loriva brand and it is in a bottle that is similar to a beer bottle. I am gonna try to pull 2 times a day once with Sesame and once with Coconut. I'll keep people posted too

EDIT: I forgot this question: Does oil need to be refridgerated after being opened?

luckyvitamin.com sells a brand of acv that is unpasteurized. I'm working on a big order from them for various things including the macadamia nut oil I have wanted for months. their price on coconut flour and almond flour are WAY better than local health food stores. so I will get that acv and see if I can use it as a "starter". I'll let you know. bd

Re: Cured at last with oil pulling

Badarms,

Coconut oil does not need to be refrigerated, staying fresh for up to two years after being opened. Other oils should be refrigerated if your house is warm. During the winter, I keep oils on the shelf once they are open, provided they will be used up within a month, but during the summer, they go in the fridge. I don't refrigerate olive oil because I use it up so fast in cooking.

OK I will put the sesame in the fridge then. I'm glad I can keep the coconut close at hand though.

Re: Cured at last with oil pulling

hi kekod,
i just recently went to a local health food store and bought a bottle of organic sunflower oil. On the bottle, it says cold-pressed and unrefined. Is this the right type of oil? As soon as I get your reply, I'm going to start oil pulling. Also besides op and taking vitamins, are there any other things that I should be doing to treat my kp?

Re: Cured at last with oil pulling

Xlala,

Your sunflower oil is perfect for oil pulling. Other things to help your overall health would be a very healthy diet, sufficient water, daily moderate exercise, and foods high in omega 3 oil (salmon, canned sardines, walnuts, freshly ground flax seeds) or an omega 3 supplement.

Give OP at least 30 days. Please keep in touch and let us know if OP helps.

Re: Cured at last with oil pulling

Khrissy,

It's OK to take medication if you oil pull. Just take if after OP, not before.

Khrissy,

You can take your meds right after you have finished OP.
