Yes, my 14 months old started to exhibit signs of KP at around 11 or 12 months of age. I developed KP during adolescence but it became much worse during my pregnancy (spreading from just my upper arms to my lower arms, sides of my torso, shoulders, and buttocks). I thought that this disease doesn't normally show up until around puberty but I guess I'm wrong. I haven't gotten the official diagnosis yet but I am pretty sure that he has it. It started on his upper arms and he also has it on the back of his lower legs. His bumps are more flesh colored and inconspicuous but you can definately feel them and see them up close. I am going to mention it to his pediatrician at his 15 months well-check appointment but I doubt she is familiar with the disease. As far as diet, I breast fed for 2 months, then started formula until 1 year, and now he drinks whole milk. His diet is strictly organic; well maybe not completely but almost. All his baby food and milk is organic. The rest of his skin is beautiful, in fact, most people tell me that he has the most beautiful skin of any baby they have seen--but then again, they aren't looking at his arms or legs. People even comment on how pretty my skin is but that's because they haven't see my arms, torso, or buttocks!
