Sorry to bump an old post, but very interesting observation... another fine, curly hair person here, and it used to be stick straight all through childhood and BEFORE the onset of my KP issues (coincidence?). My hair and skin changed in late teens-early 20s for me. My KP is pretty confined to patches on arms (upper and now lower) and also some cropping up on upper legs and tummy-bosom-buttock area.

Also I have fair skin and also blonde-reddish natural hair color, if those details matter for the sake of discussion-observation, tho that might be it's own post altogether (?).

Not a coincidence! Hair changes sometimes when hormones are off-balance (also a KP trigger!). My friend had stick straight hair that suddenly began growing curly when she entered menopause. I have curly hair. Mild KP on upper arms and worse KP on face.
