Thumbs up Quick Fix

Okay...since there is no "cure" for KP yet, here is a quick fix that worked very well for me. I have KP on the backs of my arms and on one forearm (go figure). Anyway, I'm more self concious about my forearm because I like to wear short sleeve shirts and, well, can't cover it up wearing those. I bought a new product last night at Eckerd's--"Airbrush Legs" by Sally Hansen. Here is the link http://www.sallyhansen.com/airbrush_legs.cfm

I sprayed it on my arms and I was shocked at how "normal" my arms looked. The spray is not sticky and is transfer resistant and it did not make me look orange like some tanning products. I am very fair skinned and the color looked very natural. Hope this helps!

Sheila

Sally Hansen Product

Thank you Sheila for the info. I really like this spray. My legs look much better. It really is the perfect quick fix...$10 a can is reasonable too! Nicky

Sheila,
Thanks for the "quick fix" tip. I bought a can of the sally hansen airbrush makeup (they didnt have the airbrush pantyhose). I was able to go out dancing saturday and wear a sleeveless. It was also a nice way to even out my tan. I went to miami in the hopes of tanning my arms also, it didnt happen too well. I believe that for a disease that has no cure, this definitely helps and it does not just hide the problem.

I can't believe I hadn't seen this sooner, I've been looking for something like this!!

It didn't get all over everyhting? Was it easy to get an even application? How many applications do you get out of the can? does it fade? Sorry for the questions, but I go from personal experience rather than the advertisement. Thanks for any help!!

Ok, so I bought it because I was really excited about it- and I'm really impressed with it! It looked good on my arms. I got it in the lightest color there because I have absolutely no tan- and the only problem is that when I do my sunless tanning I think I'll have to buy the darker shades. It seems like it will last for a while- I practically did my whole body just to see how it looked and it still feels like there is a lot in there.

Ironically, it did NOT look good on my legs, but then my legs are always red/purple from the circulation problems. I think I will have to get the darker color for that.

Another good thing about the product is that it doesn't wash off with just water, and I wore white after putting it on and it didn't rub off on the shirt. Also, in the shower, I had to really work to get it off- which means you can go swimming with it I bet!! That's really great because my arms always look terrible in cold water.

Great find!!

Glad it's working for you! I just have KP on my arms and the spray covers everything. I feel alot more comfortable wearing short sleeves now. I'm really impressed with it too!
