Great Combo, Works VERY Effectively
Hi, I just joined this community, and after many days of experimenting, I figured out a great combination which can treat KP really effectively.
Now, the type of KP I have is rather small bumps (skin color) and dark, clogged hair follicles almost like blackheads on my skin. I don't know if my treatment will help any sort of redness that people might have, because I have never had any. Anyway, in the shower, before actually putting any water on, I gave my skin a good scrubbing with St. Ives Apricot Scrub: Blemish and Blackhead Control. Apparently, this stuff is is very good at exfoliating skin AND has salicylic acid, which can be shown to help KP. Plus, its not expensive either. My tube is from Wal-Mart. Then, while washing it off, I used EVCO (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil) on my skin. It's important that you use the EVCO while you are in the shower and not when you step out. And remember: just blot dry with you towel when you get out. My skin felt 9000x smoother in just 3 days of this. Plus, my plugged hair follicles began to dislodge greatly. ![]() |

Wow, 9000x?! That's great news, garbanzo. Let us know if your KP heals up entirely (although 9000x sounds pretty freakin' good!)

Yeah, it has healed up well!
70% of my bumps are gone and 40% of the stuff is exfoliated out. Plus, my skin feels a lot smoother. |

I agree, the combination of a decent exfoliating scrub, and EVCO is excellent!
Good on you for finding such a successful combination! |
