Hi everyone, this is my first post, although I've been reading here for a while.

I admittedly have a very mild case of KP. It is only on my arms, and for whatever reason is worse on the left than the right. I have the kind with keratin plugs- for the longest time I actually thought it was acne. Sometimes the KP flares up; sometimes my arms are perfectly smooth.

Some things that have worked for me:

1) Bath & Body Works Breathe High Lather Moisture Wash used with a soft sponge. This body wash doesn't irritate my KP, and when I switch back to it from something else I always experience a drastic improvement.

2)Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sugar Scrub. This stuff exfoliates and leaves so much moisture behind, my skin almost feels oily! Sounds strange, but when it comes to my KP, moisturization is key.

The good news about these Bath & Body Works products is that they come in quite a few different scents, some are neutral or even masculine, so anyone can use them. I've also found that drinking a lot of water and using plain, unscented Curel lotion helps keep the KP at bay.

Some things that have NOT worked for me:

1) Neutrogena Body Clear body wash. This made my KP flare up AWFULLY, the worst it has ever been. I tried it a second time and the same thing happened- terrible.

2) Aveeno body washes. I don't know why, but something in them definitely irritates my KP, even though they are simple body washes.
