Hello!
Found recently this site, so hello! and the coconut oil which is coming
I hope coconut oil works.I have the question ``The coconut oil is temporary for the diminution of bumps`` but how long will effect last after application¿¿ I preferable not daily, but does coconut oil effect last longer than 1 or 2 days¿¿ Sorry for my English (I speak much the better with Danish). I know the everyone says hard to understand but I try universally hard. ![]() |

Welcome!
I think the coconut oil users are using it every day in the shower. And don't worry, your English is fine. ![]() |

I am married to a man who has KP (bumps on his thighs and upper arms). We have been married for 13 yrs and most of his sibilings suffer from the same as well. We have two children (ages 12 & 9) and they both have my husband's skin although our 12 yr old daughter has it worse than our 9 yr old. She has his exact same skin coloring - tans well, beautiful coloring; whereas the 9 yr old takes after me - fair and blue-eyed. But HE does have the KP just not as bad.
Now that my daughter is of the age where appearances really matter, I'm starting to take more of an interest in this subject and I'm amazed at how many people seem to suffer from this allbeit to varying degrees. I want to learn and find out the best way to minimize the effects of KP as it seems one cannot completely get rid of it. Thankfully, my daughter has a good self-esteem and is NOT going to let the KP adversely affect her. I guess only time will tell, but I want to do everything I can to help lessen its effects. Grace |

Welcome, Denmark. I am new here, too. I just started using the coconut oil and already see an improvement. Sounds like you might be worried about the oil being greasy on your skin....it's not. I use a very small amount, barely the size of my smallest fingernail, and rub it in really well. It kind of feels like sunblock on my skin. I put it on in the evening, and in the shower in the morning.
