Chemical Peeling

Has anyone tried chemical peeling? I have read some information about that on the internet. They are using especially glycolic acid but to fasten the process sometimes the are applying a solution including %50 glycolic acid + %1,6 salycilic acid on your skin to remove dead skin cells.
