A few months ago, before summer really began, I was so desperate to get rid of my KP that I thought rubbing away the bumps with one of those foot buffer things would be a good idea to get rid of them. Big mistake. It made things so much worse, and created all these little red scabs on my arms that were even more noticeable then before.
I'm writing this just to let people know, even if you get to the point where you just want to sand off the stupid little bumps, don't. Just know that you have bad days and good days, and try the coconut oil. It has maken my arms considerably smoother. Not completely redness free, I still have those left over marks. Any suggestions on how to get rid of those, or at least hide them? Anyways, good luck with your KP endeavors.

I am clear of KP now, too, but still have the scars, <SIGH> I hope someone posts something miraculous for lightening them soon...
