... someone came up to you in the street and recommended something to treat KP?

I have seen a lady get my train quite a few times now in the mornings. She has quite bad KP on her upper arms .. bumps, scabs, redness, dry etc etc. I have been itching to tell her about coconut oil, but I'm not sure if she would be offended or not.

Would you be?

Not if you would explain first that you also suffered from the same condition. I'd say, go for it!!

I'd be somewhat offended myself. But if you bring it nicely I'm sure she will understand.

I think it's all about the approach because most KP sufferers are very self-conscious. Like one poster said, if you explain that you have it, ask her what she uses to treat hers then talk about your regimen...it should be all good.

Honestly, I wish someone would've approached me on the street trying to help me (prior to finding this website). I would've been extremely grateful.

I have seen plenty of doctors before the last one managed to tell me that my condition is KP. Wasted so much of my time and effort... So...

If its me, I probably would be glad.
