Exclamation Lost Cause?!?

Well to start off i am almost 22, and well experimented with pretty much everything. I have had Keratosis Pilaris Rubra since birth. I have an allergy to Whey in Milk and all dairy products and the way that it affects me is that it makes my skin even dryer and makes the KP worse. I can't use anything scented or abrassive because it does the same. I can't use cleansers on my face, or wear most make-up except for eye shadow and lip-stick. The KP is on my neck, little on my face, my stomach, butt, legs, and feet. I have gone to a dermatologist and he just recommended a very oil based cream, Lac-Hydrin, no affect other than makes my skin shine lol. As I read through the other threads, i havent seen any cases that seem to be similar to mine so I am not sure what to do. Most products people have used, my skin will re-act to, or stay the same. The abrassive creams the dermatologist can give me would just make things worse. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dani

in responce to a reply, i have red bumps, no just regular bump

Try Arbonne's ABC line. It's made with no fragrance, no mineral oil, no animal by-products, and specifically for infants, children, or adults with very sensitive skin. It's non-abrasive and cleared up my daughter. I can't make any promises, but since you seem limited in choices, it would be a good place to start... email if you want more details allisonsullivan@insightbb.com

If I remember correctly, Lac-hydrin was what i was given when I went to a dermatolagist. He told me it would help the bumps, but the red spots would be there forever (unless I wanted to laser practicallly my whole body). I didn't finish it, but what I did use didn't help much.
I guess I don't know if you have red spots or just bumps, but the redness is a lot of my problem and not much has helped with that yet.
