A lot of people are already reporting good results from tanning, so perhaps, if we didn't cover our KP affected areas so much, our KP wouldn't have gotten as bad as it has now?

Who is brave enough to go sleeveless for the entire summer and report back?

Not me!!! I have very fair skin with red undertones. I don't tan, I burn burn burn and freckle freckle freckle (and they're not the cute kind, either). I'd rather have KP than skin cancer. My grandfather had skin cancer so I know it's in my family.

I don't mean tan on a tanning bed nor do I mean to lay somewhere in the sun. I just mean going outside in a T-shirt or tank top, like everyone else.

In that case, I do wear tanks and t's...but KP just keeps on keepin' on ;-) I'm actually going to start using a daily moisturizer with sunscreen to protect my skin even more.

It's too hot where I live to cover up all year long, KP be damned!!! My friends don't judge me by my KP (although they might have when I was in high school). Tough years, those.

I was told that with us fairskinned people, the redness that goes with a lot of cases actually gets worse when we try to tan (or burn, whichever happens to you). I don't know what theory is right, but that's what I heard.....
