I am a 17 year old African American desperate for an answer. I've been doing lots of research on the internet and I've come to the conclusion that I might have kp. I dont really have bumps just dots. Please help. Also does anyone know how I can get rid of these dark dots? Here are some pics of my legs.

I have dots like that on my legs, too. I'm caucasian. On my arms, however, I have the bumps but no dots. Go figure.

Understand that KP is just what they call the condition of the skin when there are either dots, bumps, or both. They don't know what causes it or how to treat all forms of it.

Good luck in finding something that works for you. I find that my leg dots are less apparent when my circulation is better, like when I keep them elevated. Exercise also helps.

I'm not an expert but yes, I would say it looks like you have KP. I can see that I left that part out of my previous post. I was comparing your legs to mine, and I have KP.

ok because I heard on another board that it may be because my leg hair is very thick so even after I shave you could still see the hair under the skin, so waxing may be an option. But thank you.

Give it a try! Or try plucking out a small area and see if the dots go away for a while. It would be great if you do not have KP.

It does look like KP.
