KP on your face

Does anyone have it? How do you treat it? I was at a dermatologist (1st visit) about a month ago for my KP but also for supposed acne on my face. I really wonder if I have facial KP. I'll be calling the doctor but would like other opinions. Also I have very sensitive skin and salycilic acid products wreak havoc on my skin.

My skin is now awful. I'm using differin gel and Evoclin. Any thoughts?
Anyon treatred for "acne" only to find out they have facial KP?

Thanks

I had both acne (big, nasty, cystic acne) and KP on my face. I wasn't too concerned about the KP, and I started using Proactiv. First off, it really did work for the acne, but it also really helped the KP. The cleanser is a super exfoliator- it's like sand blasting off your bumps. I've been using it for almost two years and I'm actually getting compliments on my (face only) skin now! I must sound like I work for Proactiv cause I tell everyone here with it on their face to try it, but I just had such fab results I can't help myself! It took about three months for everything to clear up totally, so if you try it, be patient.

Thanks for your response. Proactiv is way too harsh on my skin though- severe redness, peeling, and worse acne and I was on it for several months. I decreased to use of it from daily to 2-3 times a week even.

I have been using Neostrata on my face with some success. I have been using it for about a month and like what I see...however, lately I have had some itchy scratchy going on. It says on the bottle to use up to 2 times daily as tolerated. I am thinking of backing off a little and seeing what happens. I also just got some Arbonne samples from another member here and am planning to try that as well.

I have used both Differen Gel & Proactive...with no luck. The Differen Gel didn't really do anything & the Proactive about ate my skin off . I have KP on my lower cheeks & neck...along with the arms & thighs. I have been using Arbonne (NutriminC RE9 lines) for a few months now, and so far, my KP is doing great. It is 'gone' on my legs, and my face is not even 1/2 as red as it used to be. I even feel comfortable going out with no make up on. And you can hardly tell I even have KP on my arms...and they were really bad! (You can email me to see my before & after pics at janae1823@****.com.) They also have an acne line that I have used also, and it has not irritated me at all.
