I'm all about exfoliating. I think using sulfur soap has helped me as well. I only use the lotion in the morning and evening. Do you sort of feel it penetrating/tingling as you put it on? I find I get a more "this lotion is working" feeling after a good exfoliation. If exfoliation makes you more red or irritated or whatever, maybe just something that will get the oil and stuff from the day off and out of the way for the lotion to do its thing.

I usually get a cooling sensation whenever I put the lotion on. Even if its the middle of the day I can feel that sensation. I still havent figured out if exfoliating helps me or not. Sometimes if I just take my loofa without soap and scrub my arms a little bit.

Angry BBW lotion bummer..........

Well I thought the BBW lotion was working but I think I got my hopes up too soon. I've been using the lotion for almost a week now and theres been no change! I thought it was working the first few days but the bumps and redness are the same. The only time the bumps feel smoother is when I have the lotion on; but as soon as I wash or it wears off the bumps feel exactly the same. I'll still keep trying and hopefully it will get better but unfortunately so far my KP is the same. Hopefully Arbonne will work better for me.

One more thing I wanted to add. I didn't put any lotion on my KP today and it actually feels smoother. Whats up with that?

Well Angelica, it doesn't take only one week for a product to work on your KP.. sometimes it might take a month, until you see results.. this is why sometimes people don't spend too much time on a product that they are using & think it might not work.. give it some time.. maybe at least a month, and if it doesn't workk.. then use something else. A week is too little to see the actually transformation of Kp.

As I said earlier, I will keep trying the lotion to see if theres any improvement, but I think I had my hopes up because of everyones elses immediate lasting results. Every product I try, I use until it is gone. I just wish something would work already! KP sucks.

My mom and sis are the same way! They had it but not at all like mine and theirs went away all on its own when they were young and they've had no trouble since. Why can't I get so lucky? But now my poor very young daughter has KP all over her body. She started getting it around infancy. Luckily she doesn't have the redness. She also has very dry skin. I ordered the Arbonne ABC wash for her; so I'll keep my fingers crossed that something works for one of us.

sayNOtoKP: There's nothing saying your younger brother and older sister won't get KP in the future. I thought I was all cool and perfect skinned until I became pregnant at age 26. My sister had it when she was 10 (I was 15). I always thought, "Poor Kate, but lucky me! I have good skin!" Talk about karma, huh? Well, I'm older and wiser now... Just be careful what you wish for (regarding your siblings), it might come true (and I wouldn't wish this on anyone!)
Oh, and Kate's KP is gone now and she's 25.

I think it is the Eucalyptus because I was given BBW Sugar Scrub W/Eucalyptus for Xmas and had very good results washing with anti bacterial soap using scrubby gloves to exfoliate and then using the scrub. When I ran out I tried a cheaper product with eucalyptus and spearmint. Both products seemed to work the same.
