Although I am currently enamoured with the BBW lotion, I stupdily gave Gold Bond Ulitimate Healing Skin Therapy lotion a try. I'd been using it on my hands and feet and it is a very good moisturizer, so I thought I may as well try it on one arm. For about five days I thought it was really great- I was even considering switching away from the BBW lotion. Then yesterday morning my inside forearm on the gold bond arm broke out in to what sort of looked like hives or heat rash. This spread during the day and covered my whole arm. These bumps went down and dried out, but I am left with the nastiest looking KP I've ever had. It's on the inside of my arm as well.

Has anyone ever had anything like that happen with any product? Anyone ever tried a Gold Bond lotion? I'm sort of freaked out. I would think if it were an allergic reaction it would have happened sooner, and I wouldn't be able to use it on my hands and feet Needless to say I switched back to BBW and I hope it goes back to how it was. Good thing I only tried it on one arm.

Any input you've got on the situation would be appreciated.

I tried Gold Bond just for kicks, I like to use it when my arms are very dry and itchy. Never had a rash but I don't use it consistantly. I probably won't buy it again once I use it all up--I'd rather put aloe very gel on my arms when they are dry and itchy.
