Need help with redness

I recently bought the Neostrata Oily Skin AHA 8 thing and it's done great it smoothing my skin. I also exfoliate with a scrub every night in the shower and my bumps are like almost gone. I need some help with the redness though. Any ideas? Thanks!

Yeah but it will be even cooler when I get to show off my legs once this stupid rash has gone!!! haha. It is getting a little better though I'm trying 2 different methods coconut oil (available from the pharmacy) on my left side & on the right hand side wheatgrass spray under Calmurid cream. It's been less than a week but both sides are improving, my arms are pretty much clear. I'll start going regularly to the Infrared sauna next week to try to speed it all up. I'd love to get my hands on that Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus & Spearmint lotion though. The only way to order is in the US. Do you happen to have any friends/family in the USA? who could order it & then send it onto NZ? I'd be happy to share costs on shipping :-) I'm in Auckland.

Sorry, I'm not sure how to get hold of the Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus & Spearmint lotion either.

Are you interested in trying my Koru kp Cream, Lotion or Butter? Price would be waaay cheaper because you are kiwi.

Cheers

Annuu

Those of you not in the US could try ebay for the BBW lotion, although I'm sure shipping charges would be high.
As for redness, I intend to try Alpha Hydrox AHA Enhanced lotion with 10% AHA. It's a pretty reasonable price, and available online (I love doing this stuff online- way easier to keep track of). http://www.drugstore.com/products/pr...41&catid=21503
It appears that they may do international orders as well. (Funny how in the US we think of everywhere else as "international," almost to the point everywhere else has to think of themselves that way as well. Sorry 'bout that)

This is by no means an endoresment of the product as mine hasn't arrived yet, but I remember hearing somewhere that AHA use may help with redness. If others wanted to try a (cheaper than Neostrata, that's for sure) AHA lotion, that seems like a good bet.

Tinyfeet, I'm currently using the AlphaHydroxy Enhanced lotion, and I'm having sucess with minimizing of bumps, but I still have some redness and spots (I'm sure some are scars). I wore a sleeveless top yesterday while walking my dog, and when I got inside my arms were really red and splotchy. I think the lotion has made my skin super sensitive to the sun and heat. (It's been record highs here in the south east). I like the way the lotion makes my skin smooth tho. I'm expecting my second bottle by tomorrow. Some drugstores and beautysupply stores (Ulta) carry the Alpha Hydroxy line, but I have not seen the enhanced lotion. I'm going to ask if they can get it in. The lotion stings after I shave, but not for long.

Thanks for your feedback- glad to hear it may work for me as well. It does say on the bottle that it will make you sensitive to skin and to wear at least SPF 15. I don't like adding more lotions to my routine since who knows- the sunscreen could make it worse, but I have the widest brim hat you've ever seen that I wear if I'm just going to be outside for a bit. If I'm planning real sun exposure I wear Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen, which doesn't bother me much. Thanks for the heads up that they really mean it about the sun sensitivity!
