since you brought up papaya and papain, I'm actually using papaya soap I got from Ebay,the one in the orange box called Likas. I've been using this for sometime and its helped my kp , but it left my skin dry. Ever since I heard about the coconut oil, I've also started to use it. I apply the coconut oil on my skin soon after my shower. That's helped my skin stay moisturized, I've definitely noticed a big difference with my KP and the dark dots are slowly fading but not disappeared completely. I think its the lightening stuff in the papaya soap 'papain' helping to fade the spots. I'm happy with my regime and most important to me, its all natural, no more alpha hydroxy moxy lotions stuff.

I'm sorry, but what's 'meat tenderizer' and 'baking soda'? Can someone explain it to me, please, because I can't find a translation...(It's stupid to ask, but really, I don't know what it means). I think I'm gonna mix a papaya (blend it till it's crushed) and add some vinegar to it. I don't know what else to do... and rub my arms with it. If it's Ok and it doesn't sting/burn/itch, I will put it on my legs too.

meat tenderizer is a "spice" that you buy in the supermarket to do just that. Baking soda is for baking.

Update!!! Papain powder doesn't mix well with water. Just globs up. It is a little better with cetaphil. It smells like poop! And there is stuff online about papain factory workers getting very sick from inhaling it. Makes me nervous. Maybe I'll stick to tenderizer...

Meat tenderizer is an enzyme that partially digests (breaks some of the chemical bonds) of meat.

I am experiencing much fewer bumps. Only a few...very minor ones....the scars from my old picking is still there but hope time will fade. I'm looking optomistic. I scrub lightly with meat tenderizer and cetaphil at night and then follow with app cider vinegar. I'm looking forward to finding a more pure, sale free tenderizer with more papain or bromelain and also Bragg vinegar which is more potent/unrefined...will let you know...

I've been using the meat tenderizer as a shower scrub, then either using the coconut oil or arbonne nutriminC re9 body serum afterwards and am having great results! The bumps are going away but the redness is still there. I only have a few bumps on the back of my arms close to my shoulder area.

I wanted to ask: What exactly do you think the meat tenderizer is doing? And when you use it, does it sting? Because it stings my skin. But after I wash it off, the stinging goes away.

Glad to hear it!!!! The bromelain or papain in the meat tenderizer dissolved protein...dissolves keratin...that's why it makes the steaks so soft and yummy....I have a slight tan and can see very little redness! I have notice very few bumps...but very few....I still have some brown scars and a few very small raised bumps that are more scar than anything...I would suggest to scrub every so gently...I would also suggest doing it before the shower with a little water or cetaphil and leave it on for a few minutes! I've been following up with apple cider vinegar and then some coconut oil (not sure yet if the oil counteracts the vinegar) and am LOVING it! Keep me posted!!!

I would say that there is only very very very mild stinging on me..if any...does your tenderizer have papain or bromelain. Mine has bromeline. There is a company V-3 that makes liquid natural tenderizer with no salt...but they don't sell to individuals I think...I'll have to follow up on that. I bought papain powder but it is COMPLETELY clumpy with water. They don't mix. Ratts!
