Yes, I currently use KP Duty from Dermadoctor. It definitely helps make a more even, smoother appearance, but does not completely get rid of redness or bumps. Although it is expensive, I think it is worth it, especially in the summer when my arms are exposed a lot. In my experience, KP Duty works better than Neutrogena's Skin Smoothing lotion (also advertised for KP). Also, Dermadoctor will send you all kinds of fun samples along with your lotion.

I read up on it, its around 20-40 dollars depending on the retailer. In one store, Sephora, it's around 36$

Are there any petro- products in the ingredient list? Or mineral oil? It would probably be listed in the Inactive Ingredient list...

Help Wanted
I need somebody's help!
I have bumps on top of my bumps! I am one "big bump" and have been this way for as long as I can remember. Some are on my upper thighs some are on my calves. I also have bumps on the back & under sides of both upper arms and the tops of both shoulders. Adding to the unsightly bumps I also have tiny pin***** size, red flat dots. I've been to a dermatologist. I have never been given any diagnosis per say. I've been prescribed Retin A and other RX's in the past however, nothing has worked. I haven't worn shorts, swimsuit or sleeveless tops for 20 years. I would love to take my son to the beach swimming someday. Today, I found this website purely by accident and I am inspired that perhaps someone out there will relate to these specific conditions and may be able to offer their help and/or product recommendations. Thank you in advance Last edited by adaisy4you; 07-09-2006 at 04:42 PM.. Reason: spelling |

I have alba as well, and I read from I think morningbell that a certain coconut oil treatment works. I'm still trying things out, so I'll let you know.
About KP duty, I've read that the parabens found in the ingredients are harmful to your body, acting as carcinogens, even! I'll read up some more about it. |

Sofia,
Alba? Does my description sound like alba? I'll look for morningbells post. BTW, How did you get that cute little bean attached to your post? |

On the homepage, click on User CP (or control panel), then on the left side click on Edit Avatar. Then you just pick one you like!

KP duty did nothing for me. Of course, I only used one tube (somewhere around the $40 mark) and I was loathe to try again. AllisonSullivan (above) has had great results from arbonne, and I'm having good results from Alpha Hydrox (www.alphahydrox.com) enhanced lotion, so what works for some might not work for others.

I just did some research and found out that the Arbonne products I'm using contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids! No wonder we're having success! They also have peptides, beta hydroxy acids, Vitamin C, and anti-oxidants. There's much more, but I'm not trying to be a product knowledege manual here. If anyone's THAT interested, I'll email you a link. Just email me....

Unfortunately the Arbonne products contain parabens too.

How do you know a product has parabens?
