NeoStrata Product I would like to get your thoughts on

When looking at the NeoStrata website I found this:
http://www.neostrata.com/neostratapr...asp?c=a&n=2028
NeoStrata Skin Lightening Gel - AHA 10
This water-based light gel combines the exfoliating benefits of 10% AHA (glycolic acid) with the proven skin lightening effects of 2% hydroquinone. With repeated use and sun avoidance, this gel will lighten discolorations in the skin, such as freckles, age / liver spots caused by sun exposure or pigmentation that may result from pregnancy or the use of oral contraceptives. This oil-free, rapidly absorbed gel can be used under other moisturizers, sunscreens or make-up. Can be used on the face, back of hands or chest. Fragrance free. 1.4 oz. tube.

On the skinstore website that sells all these products it was 17.00, but only 13.60 if you put sale20 in the coupon code section

I guess my real question is: have any of you tried this. I am running out of money, I have just bought the toner and lotion by this company. I am a college student so almost always broke. If you have used this I would love your input!!!

Hi

I started my treatment with Neostatra yesterday and I really like their products. I am using the NeoStrata Oily Skin Solution - AHA 8 and I am ready to buy the NeoStrata Gel Plus - AHA 15.
Like you I am running out of Money ;-)... I will wait and see if anybody has anything to say.

I started using the Neostrata lotion today and have already noticed that my KP looks better It is very early yet so I hope I didn't just jinx myself by commenting after a day of use. I will repost in a week or so. My suggestion would be to check on Ebay. That is where I bought mine for like $10.

In spite of having great textures (gels & lotions) NeoStrata products are somehow too aggressive. At first, AHAs will tend to make your KP redder and make your skin more sensitive. At the same time, after several months, you'll notice your skin gets used to AHAs and that you KP will come back. I have tried all products from their range, turned out to be quite expensive and useless...
