Self Magazine's answer to KP

I recently read a blurb about "NeoStrata Oily Skin Solution" as being THE answer to KP. They promise within a month I'll be shopping for tank tops. Anyone tried it or should I save my $20?

I just found this website and I think I have some news for you guys. I revently moved here from Canada so I'm hoping this product is the same here in the US. I was using Neostrata Lotion 15% glycolic acid and it COMPLETELY cleared up my KP on my arms. I found the American Neostrata - the packaging looks different, but if it's anything like it's Candian counterpart, it's well worth the $20!

I just ordered it from skicare.com for $12.80. If you google "skincare.com coupon code" a websqure.com will pull up, you can get free shipping if you go directly through websquare.com, and then use sale20 for 20% off your order.

I hope that helps. I used the Neostrata lotion everyday after i showered and literally within days it was almost gone. Now, keep in mind, my KP might not be as bad as some other peoples. I hope this works for you. Let me know

NeoStrata Oily Skin Solution and MD opinion

RATS! I just ordered the oily skin solution from skinstore.com for $16 with free shipping. Looks like Tammy is a more websavvy shopper than I!

Just FYI - The article in Self I mentioned before quoted Neal B. Schultz, MD, a dermatologist in New York City. He says that the condition is caused by dead skin cells not shedding properly and clogging up hair follicles. The bumps rub against clothing and get irritated, hence the redness. He says not to use grainy scrubs as it will irritate the KP further. They do not know, however, why the cells don't shed properly. It's the opinion of one doctor, take it as you like.

I'll post back as soon as I see progress. Good luck to you all!!!

CindyTX,
Just wondering if there are any stores in Canada which sell Neostrata? I have been living in Canada for the past 11 months but I don't remember seeing it.
Thanks!

Shoppers Drug Mart - ask one of the cosmeticians on the make-up area!

Hi there,

I am desperately looking something that will help with the redness. I am currently using KP Duty, and although it helps with the bumps and softens the skin, i doesn't help with the redness.
I just found Neostrata oily Skin Solution AHA-8. Is this the right one? I found it at Skinstore.com and it costs 16.00 with free shipping.
Should I stop my KP duty and only use Neostrata or combine them both?

See: http://www.skinstore.com/search/Sear...?ReviewID=1995

i just ordered this stuff from skinstore.com. i used coupon code sale20 and got $3.60 off the total, and no tax, and no shipping costs. my total was $14.40. my kp has not been that bad since i have been using proactiv, and been out in the sun so much, but i thought if i start using this regularly, come fall, i will be good when i'm not sunning as much. i will let you guys know how it turns out.
