tanning and dots

hey,

who knows about tanning and hiding those dots. does tanning really hide them well. i have post kp brown dots on arms and legs. will tanning make the dots darker and more apparent?????

also, who's gonna try this gluten free diet with me. i have been trying to really cut the dairy too. who wants to try gluten free with me and observe???

all my best,

daze

I don't eat wheat and it hasn't made a difference in my KP. In fact, my KP has gotten worse over the years and I've been on a wheat free diet for a long time. I'm not as careful avoiding dairy products, so I can't tell if that makes a difference.

I am curious about the tanning also, I have darker skin w/the brown dots so it would seem like a tan would disguise it even more but also I'm hesitant b/c I've heard tanning increases the redness depending on your skin type. I'm so desperate though I think I'm going to try it anyway and see for myself. As far as the glutten free diet I haven't heard much on that but I am willing to try it. Also I think I seen a post of yours earlier w/vitamin A deficiancy theory along w/other people and so I have supplemented it into my diet taking 25000 iu gel tabs once a day and centrum on weekends w/o the vit A tabs to mix up some of the other stuff with it. I've been on it for about 5 mos and my skin is so much smoother then last summer but I still have the dots. Even the dots however have been seeming to calm down alot. At the least it's kept me optimistic on conquering this nasty disorder we all have but I'm still not happpy until it's all gone so I'm definately looking for anything new to try that's in anyway promising
