Accutane!

I have KP and folliculitus, and have had it since i was a baby (18 years) It got really bad 2 1/2 years ago. I was put on accutane in December and have been using lac hydrin lotion for around a year. It's helped quite a bit, but I stop next Tuesday. I have really bad scars now. What will help this? Laser treament, dermabrasion? I used to go to tanning beds, and my scars always faded away. Would that help now? How long 'till I can, since when your on accutane you cant be in the sun. Im just confused....Any help would be great,

I've personally never tried accutane, however i've heard from several people that it made there kp worse, so be careful with it.

Microdermabrasion will help with the scarring. Glycolic Acid peels with also help. But you will definately need a series of treatments, and if you really want results then you need to use a good skin care line in between treatments at home. I would recommend LaTherapie glycolic products for home care. They are awesome!! We use them in our spa. They have worked wonders on people that have acne and scarring. Check them out at timetospa.com and at the bottom of the page click on LaTherapie and it will take you to their products, then look the products that have glycolic in their name.
