Question Scar Zone and Neutrogena Bump lotion

Okay so I'm in Walgreen’s debating with myself on whether to spend yet more money and buy the Neutrogena Bump Lotion. So then I wander over to the Health Aids aisle and I see this product called "Scar Zone" and its looks very promising, figure if it can get rid of scars it can get rid of bumpy tissue. So as always I read the ingredients and discover that the first “active” ingredient is the same as the Neutrogena Bump Lotion. It's called ""Octinoxate 7.5%"". Then I remember someone on the board said that this ingredient is only a sun blocker, sooooo, I'm wondering why are these companies using this as their active ingredient (from what I understand the first and most active ingredient is what makes up most of any product) if it does nothing more then block sun rays, I can get a sun block for $3.00 instead of paying the $8.00-$9.00 for the other two products.

Guess I’m just wondering exactly what is this Octinoxate and why is it supposed to get rid of bumps and scars? Lasernurse? Anyone with more knowledge the moi? And for those of you who have been using the Neutrogena product -- is it working yet, I know some just bought last week?

Here is a link, I wonder about that too. I haven't bought the Neutrogena Bump lotion yet so maybe I will hold off for awhile. That is kind of weird if the first ingredient is for sun protection. Hmmmmm

The Neutrogena Body Smoothing lotion is multi-purpose as it does have SPF15 which would explain the Octinoxate. It's always a good idea to use a sunblock, but it's especially important when you use an AHA like glycolic acid, so they've just incorporated it into the product to save us step.

I've been using the lotion, but I find that, for me, my skin doesn't feel as moisturized as it did when I used Lac-Hydrin, so I've been using both for the past couple of days.
