Lac-hydrin Cream

I have tried so many things out there including vitamins, 10 different ones a day and nothing really helped. I also tried the new nutragena lotion for KP. That was OK. I also tried the concoction that was made on this board. It didnt work.
So, I have to tell you the only thing that really does work for me is the prescription for Lac-hydrin 12% Cream(not the lotion).
There is a generic version OTC but if you read the ingredients water is first on that one and on lac-hydrin water is last so I spent the extra $40.00 for a large bottle for the Lac-hydrin prescription, my ins. would not cover it.
My Dr. suggested that I slightly dampen my skin with some trickles of water to open up the pores and then apply the cream. I do this 2 times a day, 1 after I shower and one after just dampening my skin. I also use the sulfar soap when I shower with a scrub brush.
You really need to give it a full 3 weeks to see nice results just stick with it.
Good luck!
Jeanne
