Hi to all of you out there.
I've only recently found out what KP is and have been struggling where to start trying to combat it. There are so many posts about different treatments. My doc said it's dry skin caused by my underactive thyroid and to use E45 cream which was a load of rubbish. I was interested in the the several threads about coconut oil and after looking at the prices, decided to give a cheaper (and weaker smelling alternative a try). I've been using a moisturising cream which contains coconut oil by a company called Inecto http://www.inecto.com/Pages/cocopage1.html as far as I know it's only available in the UK. My KP has improved by about 80% in 1 week. The difference in smoothness/redness from using the cream is definitely noticeable. They also do a body wash which I have been using too. Just thought I'd post this for those of you that don't want to spend a fortune on trying to improve your KP! It might work for you as it is for me. |
