Question If the redness just won't go away...

I see lots of posts where people are able to smooth out the bumps with exfoliation and hydration, but the red remains. What to do?

I use a green lotion that neutralizes the red coloring from Physician's Formula. It is at Walgreens, or click the link below. It works great. It is, of course, only a cover-up, but I use it on my arms when I'm wearing a T-shirt and it's a huge improvement.

To buy the lotion:

Also--question: What have you used that has helped the redness go away? I take an Omega twin and an Ester-C. I use dead sea salts/peppermint oil scrub. The only soap I use is a tea tree oil rinse, and when I use lotion I use Kiss My Face alpha-hydroxy peaches and cream. The bumps are gone (they were gone within a few days of this regimin, but there are still little red spots on the backs of my arms. I love the green lotion for covering it, but I'd love to get rid of it. What has worked?

I guess the redness is due to the infected hair folicles which is why some are *****. Has anyone tried an antiseptic on them to help clear the infection?

Cheers
