It seems that we all have almost no problem getting rid of the bumps but cannot get rid of the red or dark scarring. I was interested if anyone has used creams that are supposed to fade scars such as Mederma? I have searched the archives and found a lot of discussion about it but not enough info from anyone who used it for a while.

thats exactly the point cope. Its pretty easy to get your skin smooth, it just takes persistence, but getting rid of the red dots are just freakin impossible. I'm almost at the point where I feel as though the red dot skin is just my skin's status quo. I don't understand why they won't go away and evidently niether to dermatologists.

I've had good success with aveeno ultra calming lotion, its for the face and its REALLY expensive(i think, its 12$ for a little bottle) but i've been using it on my arms for about a week and i can tell a big difference in the redness of my arms. Its so much smoother and more of my normal skin color, and i've been using a gentle exfoliator in the shower and thats it.
