Hi there! I am a Pharmacist, and my wife has KP on her arms. In order to try to help, I have developed a cream that contains a herbal extract (Gotu kola = centella asiatica), Avocado Oil, Urea, Sodium Lactate and Vitamins A, C and E. It has no steroids or other nasties!
The idea is that the Gotu kola regulates keratinocyte development and assists with healing. The base is moisturising (urea and sodium lactate), and nourishing (New Zealand avocado oil, Vitamins A, C and E). My wife's KP is fairly mild, and it seems to be responding well to this new cream. Would anyone else like to try it? If you would like to try this cream, I would be very keen to hear about your experience, and particularly your advice. I think it might work very well in conjunction with a pumice sponge (an item that we cannot yet buy here). Because it's free, and I will post it to you from our home here in New Zealand, I would have to limit it to a jar of 50 grams for each person, to a max of about 20 people. Hope you understand! If you are interested, please feel free to drop me a line at info@koru.co.nz Thanks! Warm regards Annuu Last edited by Annuu; 07-15-2006 at 03:17 AM. |

Hi there! This little post has caused quite a bit of interest, I hope that my cream is able to help the people who have responded so far. If you are interested in trying this cream, please contact me at info@koru.co.nz and I will do all that I can to help.
Warm regards, Anuu P.S. Although I live in New Zealand, don't let that put you off...I can send it to folks in other countries...Sweden is the farthest country away that I have received a request from! Last edited by Annuu; 07-15-2006 at 03:17 AM. |

Oh, I forgot to mention, it does not contain salicylic acid, so it should be OK for people who are sensitive to this ingredient.

Thank you to all who put up their hand to try my new cream! The response has been fantastic...from all over the world: Sweden, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and many, many folks from the US.
The free samples have been sent out today, so I am very keen to hear how things go...this is all quite exciting! Sadly I don't have the resources to send out any more samples at the moment, sorry about that! Fingers crossed that this is the first small step to rid the world of KP...wouldn't that be great?! Early days yet, the creams were only posted out yesterday! To all the people who have written in the last day, asking for a sample, I am sorry I would love to help but I have run out! Regrettably the home kitchen is not a large factory...
We will see if it works well for those trialling it, if so, I will definitely make some more! Cheers Annuu ![]() |

I just got it yesterday...wow fast shipping...anyway I used a little bit of it last night. Its nice its not sticky or gooey it feels like a regular moisterizer. It tingled a little bit at first but I could kind of see a difference. Today I toke a showere exfoliated and used it again. I think I kind of see an improvement. But I'll keep you posted about it. It smells really good. Thank you so much!

Hi, I'd be very interested to see how this works as I have tried everything (and spent a small fortune on creams over the years) but nothing seems to give me relief. I would be very interested to read everybody's feedback and am kicking myself for only seeing this thread today as I would have loved to give it a go. Fingers crossed for everybody

Pleased to hear that the cream has arrived in good time...I used faithful old post office airmail, and saved a fortune on courier charges!
Hope it works out for the nice folks who are giving it a try! Annuu ![]() Last edited by Annuu; 05-26-2006 at 04:42 PM. |
