aw, i'm late. Let me know if you do another batch or even better, we could do the recipe ourselves (being a germaphobe, I don't like buying anything that isn't sealed, embalmed in wax, then sealed again. LOL)

But yeah, if you end up marketing it, just promise you wont charge 40 bucks for a ****py 2 ounce jar like these other rip offs you see!! heh

Germaphobes can relax, the cream was made in clean conditions, with new packaging and an excellent preservative (not parabens).

If it does work out well, and people would like to purchase it, you can be sure that it would be very affordable to ensure that everyone gets a 'fair go' (to use a good ol' kiwi term!)

Kherb82 said exactly what I wanted to say about shipping, texture, and results. I can add that after two days that I see a little bit of reduction in bumps and redness. Its not a lot, but more than any other method I have tried so far. I will wait until I finished the generous sample before I comment further.

Hi guys!

Does anyone have an update on "Koru KP Cream" that they would like to post?

It's been about a week now since some people started using the cream, so it would be interesting to hear how things are coming along.

Thanks!

I might have missed the boat on this, but I'm interested in trying it for my daughter. Would you recommend it for children? She's 3.

Here's just a little update on the cream. I stopped using it I think my skin may have had a little reaction to it. It worked for the first couple of days then I don't know my skin was stinging too much. But I don't want to discourage people because my skin is unbelievably sensitive. I'm gonna try it againq without exfoliating first which I think was the problem. I'll keep everyone posted though.

Here is some feedback from one of the trial participants (after 2 weeks' use):

"kp situation
1) Where is the kp located? Arms
2) How long have you had kp? A little over 20 years. I was 12 when I was
first diagnosed and I'm now 33.

How severe were the symptoms initially? Bumps have always been small until a couple years ago. Now the bumps and redness are both severe.

How severe are the symptoms after using the cream for a defined period?
Bumps have not gone away, but they have definitely decreased
significantly in size. However, I still have the red marks.
Nevertheless, I can cover it up with makeup and wear short sleeve
shirts; the last two years before using this product, I have been unable
to do that. However, this product has not prevented new bumps.

Timing
How did you use the cream ...once, twice or more daily?
I have been using it twice a day, in the morning and again at night.

How long did the 50gram jar last?
I believe this jar will last a month.

Side effects
Any side effects?
Besides a slight sting when applying, none.

Any undesirable properties of the cream?
I like that there is no scent, not sticky and feels clean.

Cream characteristics
Personal opinions about the cream's properties, how can it be improved?

I'm impressed. I think after long term use, the cream will help manage
KP. Can the properties be reformulated so its stronger? "

So far so good, I am very keen to hear how it's working out for the other good folks who are giving it a try!

Cheers!

Annuu

I'm new to the forum.

I will keep checking back to see how everyone is doing with your cream Annuu.
I am in the U.S. (east coast) and would love to try it after the first trial period.
I am african american and would be a good test subject for you.

I have kp with slight redness in some areas on the backs and sides of my arms, the front and outer side of my thighes, my knees, and my calves.

I have a pretty bad case. I have had it all of my life. I am 33 now. I don't think I have worn shorts for well over 10 years now. I do wear short sleeves though - it gets way too hot!

I do hope more research is done to find a cure of all skin conditions.

My son has KP coupled with eczema. I feel so bad for him.

Hi there Rebirthofcool (one of the most creative names I reckon!)

Unfortunately I am all out of the cream, that I have now christened "Koru KP Cream"

Before I make Koru KP Cream widely available, I am keen to hear from all of the users in our little trial, so we get a balanced view of the pros and cons. If it seems that it is really working for a fair number of people, then I will definitely make larger quantities.

Sorry to hear about your son's situation, our daughter also had eczema, but not kp.

Cheers!

Annuu

Here is some feedback from a person in Georgia:

kp situation
1) Where is your kp located? The absolute worst is on my upper arms - fully involved. backs of upper legs - mild

2) How long have you had kp?
since exactly july 23, 2002 immediately following the birth of my son.

How do you rate your kp symptoms initially:
Bumps (1 = mild 10 = severe): 10
Redness (1 = mild 10 = severe): 7 - but only 'cause i'm a picker

How do you rate your kp symptoms after using the cream for 1 week?
Bumps (1 = mild 10 = severe): 4
Redness (1 = mild 10 = severe):3

Timing
How frequently have you been using the cream ...once, twice or more daily?
In the am and pm - twice a day

How long do you think the 50gram jar will last for you?
It spreads well and only takes a little to cover both arms so i imagine it
would last quite awhile.

Side effects
Any side effects? none!!

Any undesirable properties of the cream?
Love the scent but it could be toned down just a hair so it doesn't compete
with perfumes

Cream characteristics
Personal opinions about the cream's properties, how can it be improved?
Oh - see above.

Should it be in a jar, pump or tube?
A tube would be easier than digging in a jar but i'll take it anyway i can
get it!!

How big should the pack be in an ideal world?
Hmmmm.... i dunno

If it could be bought, where would you like to buy it?
At wal-mart or a local drugstore but i'm willing to order it directly from
you

How much should the ideal pack size cost?
$15.00 - 20.00

And someone in California:

kp situation
1) Where is your kp located?
back of arms, thighs, some on buttocks

2) How long have you had kp?
since I was a teenager, but it was barely visible until I turned 35, then it
began to be a problem

How do you rate your kp symptoms initially:
Bumps (1 = mild 10 = severe): 6
Redness (1 = mild 10 = severe): 9

How do you rate your kp symptoms after using the cream for 2 - 3 weeks?
Bumps (1 = mild 10 = severe): 6
Redness (1 = mild 10 = severe): 9

Timing
How frequently have you been using the cream ...once, twice or more daily?
So, far 1-2 times a day, twice if I can remember it. I am only using it on
my arms right now, as I am testing a KP scrub on both arms and legs, mostly
legs, and want to do a comparison.

How long do you think the 50gram jar will last for you?
Another week or so.

Side effects
Any side effects?
No.

Any undesirable properties of the cream?
Possibly the Rose oil is continuing the redness for me. I am very sensitive
to all fragrances, even natural ones.

Cream characteristics
Personal opinions about the cream's properties, how can it be improved?
It does have a tacky/sticky feel to it after applying. Nothing major,
nothing that would keep me from using it. But I notice it is different than
when I use say, the Aveeno lotion.

I use a body makeup on my arms when I go out sleeveless, which seems to be
fine for my skin and doesn't make it worse. It's called Before & After Body
Cover or something. But I have to mix colors and its a job to do. I
thought that at some point if you had a tinted version of your cream, like
they make with higher end foundations and moisturizers for faces, it could
cover some redness for people while its moisturizing and doing its job. I
would love to try something like that.

Should it be in a jar, pump or tube?
Pumps are a pain because at the bottom there is always some that doesn't
pump and is very hard to get out of a bottle. I like the jar, but a tube
would probably be okay too.

How big should the pack be in an ideal world?
The pack? Well, if you mean the size, I would say that twice the size of
what you sent me would probably be a good starter, as it would likely be a
monthly supply at minimal use. And maybe a size double that as well.

If it could be bought, where would you like to buy it?
Online. Anywhere really.

How much should the ideal pack size cost?
This is difficult to say. The problem with most KP products is that so far
they are mildly effective and very expensive. The DermaDoctor products,
like KP Duty cream which didn't work AT ALL for me, was $36 for a tube and I
felt it was way overpriced. So, I would say that a jar that would last
approximately 1 month with 2-3 applications a day (arms and legs) might cost
no more than $25 or $30.

Meanwhile, I am enjoying testing the product, would probably prefer an
unscented version to see if this affects the redness/inflammation, which is
my biggest problem of the two problems of bumps and redness, and will look
forward to hearing how I can get more when you continue to produce in an
unscented version.

I have heard that people like Nicole Kidman had KP on her arms earlier on in
films and it could be even seen. Now she looks flawless. Do you have any
idea what they might have done with her for this? I'd love to know what
those with money/celebrities are doing to completely clear their skin. When
I've gone to dermatologists they never seem to have any good protocols for
KP, other than a few creams I've tried which have never worked. You know
the drill. I also wonder what you feel about using scrubs, since I've heard
both that it's good to use them and it's not.

I did have another question but I seem to have forgotten it! So, I may
write again when I remember. Thanks again for creating this product, and
definitely let me know as things happen.

It sounds like it would be good to make it unscented, i.e. take out the natural rose oil fragrance.
