Ok guys i have written a questionnaire that i would love everyone to answer. So we can see if there are any similar connections. Just copy and paste the questions and then write your answer next to it. Thanks!
1. How many of you have had acne? 2. Do you have hayfever/sinus congestion/asthma or do you just sometimes wake up a bit mucousy and then you are fine during the day? 3. I am a female btw...

I have mild sinus problems every now and then 3. How often do you get sick per year? 2-3 4. Do you get cold hands and feet? Or would you consider yourself a hot person that barely gets cold? I always have cold hands and feet. 5. Do have brittle nails/hair? I have brittle nails but thick hair. 6. What do your nails look like, do you have any moons/white spots/ridging (lines) both horizontal or vertical. Are there any dents in your nails? I have horizontal ridging in my big toenails and it wont go away...i have a few white spots every now and then in nails. 7. What is your diet like, please explain what you would eat in a day. I eat cereal/milk for breakfast. A whole wheat bagel with cream cheese and tomatoes for lunch. Indian food with dinner. Scattered in are various snacks such as cookies, chocoltes, fruits, etc. Mostly I have switched over to organic foods but every now and then i eat sugary stuff. 8. Do you crave any types of foods, what would you say is your favourite food? I have a huge sweet tooth. I love cookies, ice cream, and chocolate. 9. How often are you urinating in a day? 6-7 times a day 10. How often are do you have bowel movements? And when you do go are you constipated or do you have loose stools. Or does it alternate between diarrhea and constipation? Do you have bloating/flatulance/stomach noises/cramping? I have normal bowel movements. I go once a day. 11. Do you have any food allergies that you have noticed which make you feel unwell after eating it. NO 12. Do you drink alcohol/coffee/tea and how often would you drink these? NO 13. How much water would you say you drink in a day? 3 poland spring bottles. 14. Do you have any health conditions? No 15. How was your diet when you were a teenager? What sort of foods were you eating? I had all junk. i ate whenever, whatever. I ate bowls of ice cream everyday. Hardly any fruits. lots of veggies though. i was very inactive as well so none of that got burned off. 16. How healthy are your parents, have they had any health conditions/surgery etc. My dad has had kidney stones and is lactose intolerant. 17. When did you first get keratosis pilaris and how old are you now? Can't remember. 18. Do your parents or siblings have keratosis pilaris? They all have it to a very less degree..i have it the worst. 19. What parts of your body do you have keratosis pilaris, and would you considerate it mild/moderate or severe? arms/backs of thighs/bum/a little bit on waist and it's moderate everywehre. 20. Do you have any other skin problems: ezcema/psoriasis/allergic to certain metals giving you a rash/do you get hives from certain soaps/itchy skin/dry skin? I have contact dermatitis that flares up during the summer. I have eczema too...I also have acanthosis nigricans (hyperpigmentation of skin around joints and stuff). 21. What health conditions do you have or have had in the past as a child? I have hirsuitism-excess hair everywhere. 22.What colour are your eyes? dark brown/almost black. 23. Do you get fatigued easily, what would you rate your energy levels out of 10? i don't get tired easily...i wake up at 8 everyday and get home at 10 pm so not that tired all the time. 24. Do you get tired after eating or do you feel energised afterwards? depends on what i eat...lately energized. 25. What is your height and body weight? height-5'2...weight-120 26. Do you exercise? If so what do you do and how often per week and for how long? i do yoga every now and then i try to do it 2 times a week. 26.Girls: How are your menstrual cycles, do they come every 28 days? normal..yes 27. Hi everyone, im the poster’s twin sister and thought I would contribute as both of us have KP, I have it worst on my legs, and Chloe (Rachel18) has it worst on her arms. Chloe has helped me formulate a strict diet due to my lactose and wheat allergies giving me IBS symptoms, but while being on this diet for around 2 months now my KP on the backs of my arms have almost disappeared, although my legs show no improvement (very stubborn). Soon Chloe will help me form a regime which hopefully will consist of liver cleansing/supplementation of vitamins/minerals, good diet and exercise. I believe this will eliminate my KP for good.

Dairy Products, wheat products, certain fruits. 12. Do you drink alcohol/coffee/tea and how often would you drink these? I have a green tea a day usually, no tea, no coffee 13. What health conditions do you have or have had in the past as a child? had glandular fever (mononucleosis) at 19 22.What colour are your eyes? blue/green 23. If so what do you do and how often per week and for how long? run and swim, bit sporadic at the momment as am in final year of PhD, 6 months ago i used to go running twice a week for an hour, sometimes longer or more frequently, at the moment I run once a week and swim once a week (hour each) 26.Girls: How are your menstrual cycles, do they come every 28 days? have natural yoghurt most days, used to eat loads of cheese when i lived at home (up to the age of 18) but now eat less 28. Do you get stressed out easily or get anxiety, are you a nervous person? it's hard to tell, have been in higher education for so many years (4 year undergraduate course 18-22 and now doing 3 year PhD) so am generally stressed, used to be very nervous person, was bullied alot but now I'd say I'm fairly condfident, for me anyway, I do get anxious about stuff easily but i don't think you can say i get anxiety |

jeanlee i couldnt get into that website i think its being updated. anyway i think it may be a little hard to see results because its not like a yes no survey, because everyone is answering the questions in their own words. however i think its more beneficial this way, yes and no surveys are very limiting

1. I have never had acne.
2. I get mild hayfever caused by certain plants. I have been allergy tested. 3. Not often, get the flu every two years or so. 4. Yes! Need gloves and two pairs of socks in the winter. 5. Weak nails, my hair seems fine. 6. I have moons on both thumbs, get white spots occaisionally and also have vertical ridges, particularly on the little finger nails of my hands and my big toe nails. 7. I'm vegetarian, a typical day is: oatmeal with soymilk, honey and blueberries, a banana, a bean salad, apple or other fruit, nuts or pita bread with hoummos and quorn nuggets and a salad or similar for dinner. 8. Anything salty. 9. Between classes! Probably 4-6 times. 10. The best question on the list :-P. Once a day, usually normal but I get bloated and not so regular if I have too much bread and cheese. 11. Millk makes me queasy, but I expect that's psychological. 12. No coffee, have a cup of tea every couple of days. Have alcohol less than once a week, sometimes not once in a month. 13. More than a liter. I have a diet coke addiction, 2 cans a day usually. 14. Tendency towards high blood pressure, improved with diet and exercise. 15. ****. I overate and didn't think about nutrition. Too much dairy, I ate meat once or twice a day. 16. Both my parents are overweight. 17. I first noticed it when I was about 12, I am now 24. 18. My father has KP and KPRF, my mother has KPRF. 19. Severe on my upper arms, mild on my back and legs and variable on my face and neck. 20. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. I get rashes from some fragrances and lotions, there seems to be no particular ingredient. 21. I had rubella, measles, chickenpox and a hernia that was surgically repaired. 22. Light blue 23. 7/10, I don't get enough exercise. 24. If I eat too much I am sleepy. 25. 5'9 and 190. 26. I go to the gym on weekends, half an hour of weight training and half an hour on the treadmill at a very brisk walk. 27. I don't drink milk, have cheese less than once a week and sometimes yoghurt. 28. Stretch marks from being overweight. I bruise very easily. 29. It's finals week, so I am stressed out right now. Generally I'm pretty laid back, though. 30. No, about a 32 day cycle. I am on the pill. 31. Some cramping and breast tenderness, period is very light since I've been on the pill. |

I'm pretty regular...nothing too weird going on there
