Testing and Vitamin/Mineral rankings

I haven't been on the site for a long time, but during that period unfortunately my KP didn't disappear . Buuuut....what I did manage to accomplish was finding someone who does vitamin and mineral testing, and this is the reason I'm writing, in case anyone is interested in this sort of thing.

I went to a homeopath for a long time (who did a type of testing called vega testing) but they didn't offer vitamin and mineral testing. And there are some labs out there that can test various things including vitamins, minerals, amino acids etc., but they are very expensive. But I came across a type of testing, called QXCI testing, that is great. It was comparatively priced (150 Canadian dollars for the test, in Canada), and it tests many, many things: hormones, neurotransmitters, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, toxins, bacteria, parasites, and some "interesting" things such as your spiritual and social health, chakras, etc. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in testing to check out there local area for this type of testing. I'll give you an idea of what it's about by writing some of my results. Normal is measured as 100, anything lower than 100 is an excess, and above 100 is a deficiency. I'll name a few that are arguably related to KP in some fashion: Calcium 137, Magnesium 168, zinc 138, sulphur 141, PABA 131, fatty acids 156, vitamin e 118. vitamin d 145, vitamin a 116....

Another thing I thought I could mention was multivitamin/mineral rankings. These rankings were done by a Canadian agency and seem pretty revealing. Here's the link...http://www.vitamin-one.com/AdultTableByRank.htm. Usana is apparently the best multivitamin/mineral, but is quite pricey. Source Naturals Life Force Multiples seem like a better compromise.

Thats awesome lindsay thanks for sharing, ive always wanted one of these tests but there is no way i culd ever afford it especially being a student. I cant believe all of the nutrients that we all have discussed are found deficient in you...itd be awesome if others could do the same test and see what results they get and we could all compare them.
