KP and chemical peeling or lazer resurfacing

Did anyone here try chmical peeling to permanent results?

I know all peels work on the current symptoms but do not inhibit recurrence. Lazer is supposed to remove the top layer and hair at times.. Did anyone have this proceedure?

I`ll try this treatment, i hope it works, and it work permanent.

The results would be very temporary. You have to remember they burn the skin off with acids or heat from lasers. By the time the soreness/sensitivity in the area went away the KP would almost be back again. Not worth it at all.

Yeah I tried it, it didn't work at all. After the burnt layer peel, the dots reappear like nothing ever happen. You can try cause different people have different skin....

Did you have the chemical peel? AHA..something? could the new bumps be allergy rather than KP?

I don't think so because I'm not allergic to acids or chemicals, I'm just allergic to fake gold and silver. But it could just be me, maybe my skin excrete dead skin too fast and it got reclog. I did a glycolic peel, maybe not strong enough? What peel are you doing?? Also, can you tell me your progress after the peel like if it gets rid of the dots?

Ah, the dots.. I only live as a tanned person, natural, self-tan, or plain makeup. I have not been able to see my own skin as dotted as it might be. But it is not only because of KP.. A tan is a style statement for the fashion-concious. Think about it! Anyone looks better tanned, Kp or not!

Because of the tan or the makeup, I do not complain about the colour. My concern is the touch of my skin. My programme?

Daily Scrub: seasalt 9250 gms)+ 1 sachet of Brewer's Yeast + two teaspoons of coffee
I mix that with a little hot water and scrub vehemently at my lower body, from the waist down. I do that on dry skin, leave the scrub a few minutes to work on my circulation: the three ingredients aid blood circultation - a thing that rids me of cellulite almost totally ( I also devour 2000mgs of green tea to vanquish my orange peel). Even cellulite was easy to get rid of, almost totally. I swear.

Then I rinse under the shower and give myself a good scrub with a two-sided loofah and shower gel. I use Glyco A (12% Glycolic acid) on problem zones. I apply an AHA lotion ( these days Johnson wheat milk..) When I am ok, I mosturize using Nevia for very dry skin ( the blue bottle). In Winter, I apply cocoa butter that heals the goosebumps to a great degree.

If you are living with KP, you cannot be low maintenance, I guess. But do u know that no one in fashion is?
Cheer up!
