Suffering...

I'm 19 years old. I've been suffering from several skin conditions since I was born. I have KP, I have severe eczema on my feet, and I have an serious problem with psoriasis on my scalp. I've been coping with the eczema its been okay in the summer months, it becomes a nightmare in the winter. Severe cracking and bleeding of my feet, toes, and heels. I can cope with my psoriasis it is not a huge deal, moisturizing shampoo seems to do the trick. However, with KP it has always sort of been there but within the past year I have noticed a significant change. It has gone from managable to completely ridiculous. I have tried some types of moisturizers with little to no change. I will be trying fish oil and then going to see a dermatologist soon. I have had no luck with getting creams for my feet, so I have been hesitant to try new things for my KP. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay,

I'm sorry, I don't have any suggestions for you as I am having hard time controlling my KP too. I just wanted to post and let you know that you are not alone I bet that the Winnipeg winters must be really hard on your skin, ouch. One cream that I found really helped with my winter ezcema is George's skin cream. I have to put it on in the morning and again at night but it keeps my skin hydrated and fights off the eczema.

Skin problems are so damn frustrating, hang in there!

Wow jay you have a lot going on. Ezcema/psoriasis and KP all together really rings a food intolerance for me or parasites. Go see a naturopath immediately.
