sulphur soap is great, but what about the red dots?
Thanks to this forum I ordered a bar of Sal3 Sulphur soap. My skin is getting so much smoother! I noticed a difference within just a few days of use and am quite amazed. My question: What can I do to get rid of the red dots? I've read posts that discuss bleaching creams for scarring, but luckily, I don't have that. Just the red dots, which are mostly flat now. I know LaserNurse mentioned they were from capillaries. Will they fade if I use the Sulphur soap long enough?

I have been using sulfur soap now for a year and a half and I went to the tanning salon over the summer. I don't know if it's the prolonged use of the soap or the tanning but my red dots are really not there. I was looking at my legs yeaterday thinking how clear they looked. I have also started the curel, sal. acid and urea mix a little over 2 wks. ago and could be that thats the reason they are looking so much more clearer to me. Maybe it's a combo of it all. I still will continue w/ the soap although I have dropped down to every other day instead of daily use. That soap really performed a miricle for me and I thought my legs looked good then and now they just keep improving w/ the lotion mix. Kim

Thanks so much for the info. Kim. Did your arms ever seem to get worse when using lotions though? I have always shied away from using moisturizers on my KP (and I've tried many), because they only seemed to make the bumps worse. It sounds strange, since KP is a dry skin condition, but my skin has always been best when not using any moisturizer, or a very light one like Aloe Vera gel or Oil of Olay. So far with the Sulphur Soap, I only tried a moisturizer once - a heavy foot cream with urea in it. As it expected, it made the bumps worse, so I stopped and haven't used any moisturizers. Any thoughts on this?

Have you tried Curel w/ Q10? It's really mild and I even use it on my face, it's never caused a breakout of any kind. I picked the Curel lotion over the Amlactin to mix w/ the Sal. Acid and Urea because it had way too much junk in it such as mineral oil. I'm so afraid of clooging up my pores even more. Kim
