Hey Addy! Just wanted to know if the lotion you mixed up became watery? Mine did and I just added more lotion and more Sal. Acid to thicken it up. The lotion is going good for me so I thought I would increase the Sal. Acid and see how it goes. Let me know how it's going for you. Kim

I've found that I have to shake my lotion up alot. sometimes it comes out kinda watery, but I figured that was because I put it in a bottle with a pretty narrow opening (sorta like the kind hair stylists mix color in; I bought it at a beauty supply shop, because it had measurements printed on it).
things have not been doing so well for me, and I'm not sure why. I've been trying my own mixture of Dove Exfolliating scrub, sulfur powder & a tiny bit of Sal acid, scrubbed in with a buff puff. Then I use regular Curel Q10 & Glytone in a.m., and the Curel/sal acid/urea mix at night, but I've been alternating that with Kersal and Neutrogena's new body smooth lotion....I'm just about to decide to go back to the sulfur soap, though....wonder if they'd make a liquid soap for us? (then we could dump in whatever scent we wanted!!)
the only other thing I can think it might be is that I'd been taking about 2,000 mg of MSM tablets daily, and am not anymore. I didn't think it was making much of a difference, but maybe in combination with the other stuff, it was??
anyway, I'm glad you're having more success than I am!!

I understand that when you compound drugs you should try to do small amounts and also store in a dark glass container. Plastic will start to dissolve and can have a chemical effect on your mixture. Also air will affect it over time. So maybe you need to stick to mixing very small quantities and if possible do it immediately before using.
