i have KP & i just recently found out what it was. My cousins boyfriend also has KP & she told me that his docter told him that he should try shaving the hair off his arm . Well i didnt have much hair on my arms anyways, but i tried it. i did it like three days ago & i its working really well. i still exfoliate & everything. i use , St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub to exfoliate & then i use Aveeno Moisturizing Soap Bar with Salicylic Acid. After i get out the shower , i pat my skin dry & use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion. It works !!! try it !!

Shaving is where this whole thing started for me. In the beginning, shaving was the cure all for the bumps. I would shave and my skin would feel like silk. But the more I shaved, the more the KP came. And the rest is history. I cannot put a razor anywhere near my skin now. I can only use Nair or wax with a special sensitive wax.

be careful with hair removers. nair made my arms worse. before that i only had kp on my upper arms. now it's all the way down. it dries the skin sooo badly. i stuill shave once a week and it hasn't helped or made it worse. i'm trying a new regime and i guess it's better/ my skin is softer at any rate.
