I just wanted to note that I've been using Dove Deep Moisture body wash for about a month - month and a half, and the KP (on the back of my upper arms and on my stomach) seems to be much improved. My forearms are still a bit of a problem, but I did kind of a test on one of them so we'll see how that goes. The extra moisture in the body wash seems to have definitely helped.

A little of both. I definitely have the red dots, but the bumps are mostly only noticable to me. I'm kinda OCD though, so any tiny imperfection in my skin (or my nails for that matter) is like, begging to be picked at so it will go away.
As far as the helpfulness of the body wash, I notice a definitely smoother feel to the backs of my arms, and on my stomach. On my stomach I don't really have the red dots, but have more bumps which end up getting completely clogged and turn into full on zits. I used to have about 5-6 inflamed follicles on my abdomen at any given time, but it's down to about one or two now. It's pretty strange that the body wash seems to help, since I used to use lotion on my arms regularly anyway, and only now that I have changed soaps have I noticed an improvement. |

BTW, i use the Dove Gentle Exfoliating wash. it has all this mini beads in it, and the soap itself is really creamy and nice. you can really rub your self down with all the beads they put in it. i like to use it on my face and my arms.

It seems to help a little with the red dots, since they are not as dry and not as clogged. The dots are still there, though. The dots are only on my arms, and some of them I can't see.
At the moment I am trying a technique similar to the one posted by The Pumicer so we'll see how that goes. By the way, I am a female. |
